About this print
Slate Ridge I is classic monochrome landscape with a brutalist temper: hard rock, heavy sky and nothing sentimental between them. The ridge line does the drawing, a saw-tooth of charcoal against clouds that sit low and close. Because the whole image lives between slate and near-black, it behaves like a neutral and works in warm rooms as easily as cool ones, lending weather rather than colour. It suits a living room or bedroom that wants drama kept composed, framed wide in black or dark grey. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
