About this print
Basalt Columns shows nature working like an architect: volcanic rock cooled into upright prisms, packed as tightly as organ pipes, one column lit and the rest receding into black. The verticals give it a strong architectural pull, so it lends height to whatever wall it hangs on. Entirely monochrome, it settles into any palette as a neutral, matching concrete, dark timber and steel without effort. It is especially good in a hallway or stairwell, where the upward lines lead the eye along. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
