About this print
The composition looks straight down: a wedge of cream parchment crossing a dark, brushy ground, and the compass sitting open at its centre with the needle caught mid-swing. The brass case and its shadow carry all the light in the piece, and the surrounding umber has the depth of aged varnish. It is a natural study piece, at home among maps, books, and things brought back from somewhere. An office, a hallway shelf wall, or a living room corner with a reading chair all suit it. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
