About this print
Peak at First Light sets one mountain against a sky of warm haze, its outline softened until it is more presence than place. Along the bottom, a ridge of pine silhouettes gives the eye something crisp to hold, and the contrast makes the mist feel deeper. The palette runs from cream through apricot into near-black green, warm enough to sit happily with oak, leather and wool. Its portrait format suits chimney breasts, stair walls and the narrow slot beside a desk. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
