About this print
Wheat at Dawn keeps its horizon high and hazy, letting a scatter of sharp seed heads carry the whole image against a field of blur. The light does the work: everything sits in honey, oat and cream, the kind of warmth that flatters morning kitchens. There is a gentle nostalgia in it, late-summer fields before the day starts, without tipping into sentiment. It pairs with butcher block, ceramic and linen, and hangs as happily in bedrooms as breakfast rooms. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
