Charles Darrow's 1935 patent (US2,026,082) shows the board the world knows by heart: the loop of properties, the railroads, the four corners. The design owes a clear debt to Lizzie Magie's earlier Landlord's Game, a tangled origin the famous drawing quietly sits on top of.
This is an independent art print that reproduces a historic patent drawing from the public patent record, labelled with its patent number, year and inventor. ArtSource is an independent studio and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or trademark owner; any third-party names are used only to identify the underlying patent.
Printed on 200 gsm uncoated fine-art paper using pigment inks. Framed prints use a wood frame in your chosen colour finish; canvas prints are stretched on a slim FSC-certified wood frame. Made to order; no off-the-shelf stock.
