About this print
Pond Ripples never shows the trees, only their reflection: overhanging greenery bent and rebent by ripples crossing the water, until leaf, sky and light merge into a shimmering vertical abstract. It behaves like a painting from across the room and like a puzzle up close, which is a generous way for a picture to work. The watery greens and silvers are deeply restful, suited to bathrooms and bedrooms, and above a desk the piece offers movement without distraction. It answers green and blue schemes alike, and loves the company of glass and pale stone. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
