About this print
Cracked Gold Leaf is a texture piece: no figure, no horizon, just the surface itself. The gold sits in broken plates over a pale ground, the way old gilding fails on a chapel ceiling, and that failure is the composition. It brings warmth and a little glamour to a scheme without adding another colour to manage, which makes it easy to place: over a bed, above a console, beside anything linen or oak. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
