About this print
Ink & Gold borrows the energy of Japanese calligraphy without the characters: fast black strokes, controlled splatter, and gold leaf catching the light where the ink breaks. The crimson line through the composition keeps it from reading monochrome. It suits rooms that already have a point of view, a dark study, a dining room with good lighting, an entrance that should say something. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
