About this print
Dried Wheat is all line: hundreds of stems laid across one another, each with its own ear at the end, in a palette that runs from green olive through to pale straw. There is no sky, no field and no horizon, just the bundle filling the frame in flat light. That turns it into a texture piece, warm and dry, which is a useful thing to have in a kitchen or a hallway where most art runs cool. It is a natural companion to linen, oak and unglazed pottery, and it brings warmth to a room without any orange in it. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
