About this print
Allium Field is a picture of the same shape hundreds of times: perfect violet spheres held up on straight green stems, receding until they blur into a haze of purple. The flowers are all at slightly different heights, which keeps the repetition from turning mechanical, and the flat light keeps the colour even across the whole depth of the frame. It is a happy picture without being a cute one. Wide format suits it over a sofa, and it works well in a hallway where the receding field gives a sense of space. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
