About this print
Blue Poppies is worth hanging for the colour alone: Meconopsis is one of very few flowers that produces a true blue rather than a violet standing in for one, and it is notoriously hard to grow outside a cool damp climate. Here they are massed so the petals overlap, that clear cornflower blue set against gold stamens and dark green leaves. The rarity is part of the pleasure, but the picture works on looks too. It cools a warm room, suits an office wall and sits well with grey, chrome and pale oak. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
