About this print
Iris Falls goes in on the lower petals, the ones botanists call falls, where the flower does its most elaborate work: veins fanning out from the throat, a fuzzy beard catching light, the purple deepening towards velvet at the outer edge. It is a complicated flower and the macro treats it seriously rather than prettily. The result is a piece with a lot to look at, best hung where someone can get close. It works well in a study or a living room, and it sits comfortably beside dark wood. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
