About this print
Lavender at Dusk catches the field at the point where the light has gone cool, which pushes the violet towards blue and makes the rows read as bands of colour rather than as plants. The furrows run away from the viewer, giving the picture depth without any need for a horizon, and the whole image sits in a narrow tonal range. It is a calm, wide piece for over a sofa or along a hallway, and it groups naturally with the wisteria and allium pieces. Its blues make it an easy neighbour for the wilds landscapes too. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
