About this print
Unfurling Ferns catches the plant at its best moment, when new fronds are still rolled into tight crosiers and have not yet opened into leaves. Massed together they fill the frame with spirals at every stage of unwinding, in a deep emerald that flat light keeps saturated. There is real movement in the picture even though nothing in it is moving. It is a natural bathroom piece and a good one for an office, and it brings a sense of growth into a room that a finished plant never quite does. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
