About this print
Wet Laurel is a hedge photographed at the moment it looks best, straight after rain, when every leaf carries water and the surface goes glossy. The green is dark and slightly blue, and the beads of water sit on top of it catching the flat light as small bright points. Filling the frame with nothing but leaves turns it into a texture rather than a garden picture. It is an easy piece to place, cool enough for a bathroom and deep enough to hold a living room wall, and it takes almost any frame. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
