About this print
Butter and Mauve behaves like a painting: full-blown flowers in butter yellow and cream push up through a haze of mauve, lilac and dusty pink laid on in thick, visible strokes. Nothing is quite in focus and nothing needs to be; the pleasure is in how the two color families lean on each other. It brings a made-by-hand warmth to bedrooms and hallways, and it loves the company of aged wood, cut flowers and cream walls. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
