Original artwork
A full moon rises over the Tama River, a willow leaning across the water while boatmen pole home beneath distant hills. One of Hiroshige's quietest river evenings.
This is an original piece printed in its own fixed palette, so there are no color options.

The willow does the framing, its trailing branches crossing a pale moonlit sky while the river runs in bands of blue past rafts and wading figures. Utagawa Hiroshige designed this woodblock print around 1838, and it shows his gift for evening light: one moon, one tree, and a whole landscape settling for the night. The impression comes from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's open-access collection and is now in the public domain. Those cool blues and soft creams suit a bedroom or a living room that winds down well, alongside linen, pale oak, and low lamps. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic molded gallery frame in your chosen color finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colors.
