About this print
The archway frames the picture within the picture: cool stone and flagstones in shadow, then foliage and broken sunlight spilling through the opening. The brushwork stays loose, in the style of a heritage oil study, so the scene feels remembered rather than photographed. Hung in a hallway it does what architecture does, pulling the eye through and suggesting somewhere beyond. It also suits a living room that wants depth, or a bathroom with stone and greenery already in play. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
