About this print
The thistle heads hold their colour, a dusty violet, while the leaves and stems have gone to paper and rust. Behind them the wall is washed in lilac-grey light, so the whole piece hums at one quiet register. It is a still life about things lasting past their season, and it reads beautifully in a bedroom or a calm corner of a living room. Pair it with aged brass, faded textiles, and anything linen. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
