About this print
Nine tenths of this piece is atmosphere: a vast fog-white sky bleeding into ochre grass, with the cottage held small against the right edge. That imbalance is what makes it work, giving a room a sense of distance and weather without a single loud note. In the style of a heritage oil study, the brushwork stays soft and the palette sits in umber, bone, and smoke. It calms a bedroom, settles a living room, and gives a narrow hallway somewhere far away to look. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
