About this print
The grapes carry a soft bloom on their skins, the leaves twist to catch the light, and the background falls away into brushy umber shadow. It is classic chiaroscuro still-life territory, composed so the fruit seems to sit just inside arm's reach. This is a piece for a kitchen with dark cabinetry, a dining wall, or the passage between the two, anywhere food and company already gather. It flatters candlelight, walnut, and a well-used table. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
