About this print
The drama is all in the contrast: wheat-gold fields catching a last run of sun while the sky above stacks up in charcoal and iron grey. Distant hedgerows and a dark copse hold the middle ground, giving the eye somewhere to travel before the storm arrives. It is a big-hearted landscape in the heritage oil manner, and it wants a wall with room, over a sofa, along a dining room, at the head of a hallway. It pairs with ochre, leather, and black iron. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
