About this print
The face is drawn with real care, shadow pooling under the brow and jaw, while the hair and shoulders break apart into fast, gestural marks. That contrast between finish and looseness is what gives the piece its energy; it feels like a page from an atelier rather than a finished commission. It brings the dark-academia register to a wall without a single book in sight. A study, a landing, or a console-table wall suits it, ideally with warm lamplight and old wood nearby. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
