About this print
The stem climbs the full height of the piece, from thorned base to an open crimson flower with a gold center, every leaf modelled in cool gray-greens. Setting a botanical study on black instead of cream flips its character from academic to theatrical, and the red carries across a room. It is superb in a bedroom, over a dressing table, or as a run of one in a dark hallway. Pair it with black frames, aged mirrors, and deep-toned walls. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
