About this print
The composition draws you through a timber archway into rows of shelves, each spine reduced to a warm smudge of umber and gold. Most of the canvas sits in shadow, so the little light there is feels earned, falling across the boards like late afternoon through a high window. It belongs beside leather chairs, dark wood, and walls that already hold books, where it reads less like a picture and more like another door. A study, a reading corner, or a dim hallway suits it best. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
