About this print
Ink in Water uses the upright format to follow a plume down rather than across, and the result is quieter than most ink photographs: the colour falls in soft overlapping veils, dense at the top and diffusing towards the bottom of the frame. The violet holds a blue cast throughout, and the clear water keeps the background completely plain. It is a calm piece despite being a picture of motion, which makes it work in a bedroom where something more turbulent would not. Tall and narrow, it suits the wall beside a door. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
