About this print
Blue Hour Snow is taken in the short window when the sun has gone but the sky still carries light, and snow does something particular then: it stops being white and turns the colour of the sky above it. Here that means a field of soft cobalt and periwinkle, with shadows stretched long and low across untouched drifts. There is no tree, no figure, no horizon event, so the piece works as a field of cold, quiet colour. It is a natural counterweight to a warm room, and it gives a bedroom the stillness that a busier landscape never can. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
