About this print
Canopy From Below points the camera at the sky and lets the trees take it back: layer on layer of leaves in emerald, moss and lime, with only slivers of pale sky getting through. Looking up is not how we usually see a wood, and that unfamiliar angle is what stops the image being another forest picture. The green is bright without being tropical, and the pattern reads well from across a room. It brings life to a living room wall and works surprisingly well in a child's room, where the upward view feels like lying on the grass. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
