About this print
Spruce Hillside looks across rather than into the forest, so the trees stack up the slope in bands, each rank paler than the one below as the fog gets between them. There is no summit and no sky, which leaves the sense of scale to the layering alone. The colour is a cool blue green throughout, broken only by the grey of the air, and it holds together as a single tone from a distance. It is a good wide piece for a living room, and it groups well with the ridge studies elsewhere in the collection. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
