About this print
Ridges in Sea Fog is a landscape built entirely from overlap: four or five wooded ridges, each a lighter shade than the last, receding until the furthest is barely separable from the sky. Sea fog is what makes it possible, thinning the colour with distance in a way clear air never does. The composition is close to a woodblock print, which is part of why it works so calmly on a wall. It suits a wide space over a sofa or a sideboard, and it is a natural pairing with the japanese prints in the catalogue. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
