About this print
Rain in the Firs is taken when everything is soaked and the light is completely flat, which is when a conifer wood shows its best colour. Wet bark goes near-black, needles turn a deep true green, and the whole scene loses the grey cast that dry forest photographs always have. There is no drama in the composition, just trees at close and middle distance, and that ordinariness is what makes it feel real. It brings depth to a living room wall and reads especially well in a bathroom, where damp is already the theme. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
