About this print
Layered Ridges is the same country as the other ridge studies caught at a moment when the fog is thicker, so the separation between planes is cleaner and the shapes flatter. Each ridge is a single tone, and the tones step evenly from a near-black blue green at the front to a pale silver at the back. That regularity is what gives the piece its calm. It hangs well in a wide space and holds up from across a room, where the layers resolve into a simple stepped gradient. Grey walls suit it; warm white walls suit it better. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
