About this print
Ridge Study compresses a wide landscape into an upright frame, stacking the planes so tightly that the image reads almost as a set of horizontal bands. Blue green alternates with the pale grey of the fog, and the top of the frame is nearly white where distance has taken the last of the colour. Because it is so simple it holds up in small format as well as large, which makes it useful in a hallway or a stairwell. Hang it where the bands can be seen straight on rather than at an angle. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
