About this print
Hydrangea Head is a lesson in how the plant is built: what looks like one flower is actually a crowd of small four-petalled florets, each with its own tiny centre, packed into a dome. At this scale the individual florets are clear and the whole is still legible, and the violet shifts gently from floret to floret as the light catches them. It is an even, restful image with no single focal point, which makes it easy to live with in a bedroom. Grey, white and pale timber all suit it. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
