About this print
Cinnabar is the mineral that gave the world vermilion, and this slab shows why: the red is dense and slightly glassy, pooling in seams through dark grey rock. Shot flat with no highlight to flatter it, the colour has to stand on its own, and it does. This is the piece for a room that needs one hot note against neutrals, a scarlet that reads as earth rather than paint. It is strong company for charcoal, raw plaster and dark timber, and it lifts a kitchen wall where a softer red would go pink. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
