About this print
Cut and Polished is the collection at its most decorative in the good sense: a wide stone, finished flat, laid across the frame so the banding reads like a landscape seen from far off. Plum and lilac alternate with quiet grey, and the polished face gives the colour a slight depth that a rough surface never has. At width it works over a sofa or a console table, and its horizontal pull suits a hallway run. There is enough grey in it to keep it from turning a room purple, which is the usual risk with amethyst. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
