About this print
Ultramarine Stone takes the same material and crops in until there is nothing but colour, the way a painter might crop a sky. Cut square, with the pyrite reduced to a handful of gold flecks, it works almost as a monochrome, and the small amount of variation left in the surface is what stops it feeling printed. It is a good piece for a smaller wall, an alcove or a stairwell landing, where its job is to hold a single deep colour rather than tell a story. It sits well with brass, walnut and plain white plaster. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
