About this print
Gesso Strokes strips painting back to its ground: unthinned white primer dragged upwards in heavy, confident passes, the ridges standing proud enough to shadow themselves. With color removed, the eye reads gesture instead, where the brush lifted, where strokes overlap like leaves. It is the collection's most painterly texture piece and thrives in rooms that treat white as a material: chalky walls, plaster, pale stone, ash. The tall format gives the upward movement room. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic molded gallery frame in your chosen color finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colors.
