About this print
Violet Swirl catches ink in the middle of a turn, where the heavier body of the drop is still coiling and the trailing edge has already stretched into filaments. The colour sits between indigo and violet, dense enough at the core to read almost black, and the clear water around it means every thread has a clean edge. Wide format gives the movement room to spread. It is a confident piece for a living room wall, and it sits well beside the mineral collection's amethysts, which share its colour without sharing its motion. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
