About this print
Raw Silk Threads runs the whole frame in one direction: hundreds of unspun filaments lying parallel, each one picking up a thin line of sheen where it faces the light. Raw silk keeps its natural irregularity, so the lines wander slightly and bunch in places, which is what stops the image reading as a printed stripe. The colour is a soft khaki green, warm and slightly gold. It is a quiet, refined piece for a bedroom or a study, and it sits beautifully with linen, brass and pale wood. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
