About this print
Magenta Plume catches a drop of ink at the moment it stops being a drop: the body is still dense and rounded, but the trailing edge has already broken into filaments that curl back on themselves. Against clear water and a pale ground every thread stays readable. The pink is strong and clean, closer to fuchsia than to rose, and the wide frame gives the plume room to travel. It is a lively piece for a living room or a study, and it makes a natural set with the crimson and violet plumes. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
