About this print
Magenta Pigment photographs the material rather than the artwork: a heap of ground colour, poured out, holding the soft slumped shape that only a very fine powder makes. The pink is saturated to the point of looking lit, and the chalky surface it sits on is almost white, so the frame contains two things and no more. That reduction is the appeal. It works above a desk or over a low piece of furniture, and it makes an obvious pair with the ultramarine and vermilion powder pieces. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
