About this print
Agate Slice is a study in patience: the stone took millions of years to lay down these rings, and the photograph does nothing but hold them still. Deep ultramarine gives way to steel, then to a translucent core that reads almost white against the pale background. Everything about it is ordered, so it works where you want interest without noise, above a desk or beside a basin. The blues are true and cool, which makes them a natural fit for white tile, chrome and pale stone, and a good counterweight in a room that is otherwise all warm wood. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
