Table VI takes the dissection one layer deeper. The figure keeps the same outstretched pose as the plate before it, but the outer muscles are lifted away so the structure beneath begins to show, and the engraving grows lighter and more linear as a result. Behind, Jan Wandelaar placed a tall carved monument half hidden by a tree, with open country beyond. The plate belongs to Albinus's Tabulae sceleti et musculorum corporis humani, printed in Leiden in 1747, and the Wellcome Collection holds the copy reproduced here under a Public Domain Mark. It pairs naturally with the other back views as a set. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
