Table XV of the muscles drops the scenery altogether. Instead the page is filled with a row of tall vertebral columns, each shown with one group of the muscles that run along the spine, and a second row of shorter studies beneath, all labelled in a neat engraved Latin hand. It is the part of the atlas where Jan Wandelaar's line is at its most exact, and the repetition gives the sheet a rhythm close to a musical score. Albinus published it in Leiden in 1747; the Wellcome Collection's copy is the public domain source. Light and graphic, it suits a clean white wall. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
