About this print
Scarlet Silk is the collection at its most saturated. Silk takes red better than any other fibre, and in soft folds the colour does everything at once: bright where the light slides along a curve, deep crimson on the turn, almost black in the depths of a fold. Flat studio lighting is what keeps it readable rather than glaring. It is a strong piece and it knows it, so it works best alone on a plain wall in a living room or bedroom. Cream, charcoal and dark wood are the safest company. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
