About this print
Violet Plume catches the ink at full spread, when the body of the drop has opened into a broad cloud and the edges have drawn out into filaments fine enough to see through. The colour sits between indigo and violet, dark at the core and lightening rapidly outward. Against clear water the whole structure is legible with no background to compete. Wide format gives it room, and it works well over a sofa or in a hallway, where the sense of movement carries from a distance. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
