About this print
Violet Smoke is the smoke study in colour: the same thin rising thread, the same tight spiral near the source, but lit so the whole plume carries a deep violet cast against an almost white ground. Smoke has no hard edge anywhere, so the picture is entirely gradient, and at the top of the frame it simply runs out. It is a calm piece despite the strong colour, which makes it work in a bedroom. It sits naturally beside the ink studies and the amethyst pieces without repeating either. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
