About this print
Leaf Field is a colour-field painting with one incident in it. The green is worked wet so the tone drifts across the canvas the way light drifts through a tree, and the only hard event is the knife scrape running top to bottom slightly off centre, where the paint has been lifted away and the bare ground shows. That off-centre line is where the eye lands, and it is what gives a single field of colour its structure. It is the quietest of the six and the easiest to live with over a bed or behind a desk. Printed to order at gallery scale in its own fixed palette.
Materials and sizes
Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival pigment inks (giclée process). Framed prints use a classic moulded gallery frame in your chosen colour finish; the glazing is shatter-resistant acrylic. Made to order for you, in your colours.
